A woman believed to be in her 30s died during the night of Tuesday (28 June) after she was hit by a train near 3rd Avenue in Florida.

ER24 paramedics responded to the call out and were flagged down by local CPF members who were already there.
The paramedics found the woman lying next to the tracks. They assessed her condition and found that she had sustained multiple fatal injuries. Nothing more could be done for her, and she was declared dead on scene.
It is believed that the woman was trying to cross the tracks when she was hit by the train.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigation.
